50 Book Challenge post:
Hi! I'm a new to livejournal, and this community. I'm an avid reader, and this seems like a great way to track what I'm reading. I read a lot, but lately the majority of my reading has been chick-lit and generic predicta-plot romance novels. So my personal goal for this year is to try to read 50 books that involve a little more thought. A few times this year I've checked books out of the library, only to realize halfway through that I'd already read them! I still love the chick-lit books, but I'm looking forward to some new things. I've been reading through the entries here, and I already have quite a list of books I'd like to read.
Since it's already April, I can't remember all the books I've read this year, so here are the ones I know for sure....(possible spoilers, but mostly just brief thoughts)
